Mormons in Haiti..... Is this how a real church reacts to a major disaster?

sick, afflicted, mothers, children - all turned away from the best built stronghold in the city.
the chapel which could offer sanctuary for up to 200 people...... let in 36 (mormons)
From the BoM: Mormon, 8:37 For behold, ye do love money, and your substance, and your fine apparel, and the adorning of your churches, more than ye love the poor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted.
this from the church which is building a temple to consumerism (shopping mall), costing (an estimated) $3 - $4 BILLION in Salt Lake City
this from the church which has used a tiny percentage of it's tithing income for charitable purposes, yet often crows about it's extensive charity works
Is this the action of a church, or a business corporation?
It's funny how much they touted themselves here about their aid to Haiti. I never heard this story. I live in Hell, I mean Utah. The church is not very helpful to non-Mormons and even their own members sometimes. It was like pulling teeth trying to get the church to help me out when I was in dire need. I never did receive any help from them while I was a member and never asked after leaving the church. They are quite horrible at helping people of other faiths, unless they can preach to them about their religion while they are helping them. Even then, they get mad if you decide it's not for you or you'd rather not hear it. I also love it how they have stock in different companies (like gambling for the most part, which they don't allow) and one of the companies is a cattle ranching company. They say to eat meat sparingly and in times of famine/drought. This church is so damned hypocritical it makes me sick to my stomach. I can't wait to get out of Utah.
